Re: Blind defender leads paired flop HU
why call, he bets into a pre-flop raiser. He probaly has something,(probaly an 8?) you are out of position and the pot is absolutely not worth it.

Re: Blind defender leads paired flop HU
I had a hard time putting him on an 8, the only hand with an 8 I'm calling with here against an EP raise is 88. I guess something like A8s is likely as he seems slightly loose over this tiny sample. I agree with sthief I think he has a pocket pair usually.

Re: Blind defender leads paired flop HU
against this type of weak tight controllable player, raise the flop. if he 3-bets fold. if he bets the turn, fold. if he checks the turn, check behind and hope he chekcs the river too. he's got a pcoket pair most of the time here I think

Also, who's to say he's weak-tight at this point? |

I'm not sold on the idea of raising, though. |

[/ QUOTE ] These don't really seem to add up to me. If he's a weak tight player with a pocket pair, shouldn't we either be pushing him off the hand or letting go completely? Letting him see a cheap showdown against UI Hero seems neither here nor there. |
