Default Another Hand

3 limpers to the CO who had posted. He checks, I limp on the button with As8h. Blinds come along.

The flop is Ad 6d 2s and everyone checks.

The turn is the Kd. Very aggressive player in EP bets, calling station in MP calls, I raise, they both call, everyone else folds.

The river is the Js. Checked to me, I bet.

If he bets the flop, he's probably going to get checked to on the turn, no?

Does it? I know there are lots of people but that's a nothing board, and if I can get someone to bluff or catch a pair and then charge them 4sb on the turn in a 7sb pot, isn't that a huge coup? Letting someone draw for free here doesn't seem like much of a risk given the price they'll pay on the turn.

All those players, I just prefer to bet the flop and, hopefully, get it over with. Seems like every time I try geting tricky against a big field it backfires. It's not exactly a "nothing " flop as there are two diamonds.

Then again, I'd not have played this hand at all.

I wouldn't have played this hand either. With potential 6 way action, and being on the button I would even fold AJ off soot. But give me sooted connectors in the same situation and I would raise.
