TT hand
Ok so my initial read was that the pf raiser had an overpair on the flop. I read this player as typically weak/passive. I considered the option to fold the hand but thought I would be giving the player too much credit.
I opted to raise and was called. At this point Its pretty clear that Im beat, a K comes on the turn narrowing down the hands i was ahead of even more. I bet on the turn intending to check down the river as I did, when in reality, It seems I should have checked the turn and folded the river UI, or would this be far too weak? Party Poker (6 max, 6 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 3 folds mp raises to 2, cuttoff calls, I call.. Re: TT hand
I just wanted to give you some cocky advice.
You're one of us now -- which means you're better than everyone at the table. Keep that in mind when you play this hand. There's no reason to check behind on the river. Fire out a huge bet. This will work in one of two ways: 1) Your opponent will have a King, but he'll fold, because it's only a one-pair hand he knows you're a 2+2er and thus cockier and better than he is. From his perspective, there's no reason to make this call with one pair against someone who has just joined the ranks of the elite. 2) Your opponent will not have a King -- or a set that became a boat, or an overpair to your tens, or an eight. However, he will know what a cocky and good player you are, and he'll know you're trying to buy the pot. He'll call with pocket sixes. Ship it. |

Well, that wasn't cocky at all. I think I like the advice you have given me and I agree that I should have bet that river.

Re: TT hand
Remove the 'texas' from 'NL Texas Holdem' at the top of the hand history file and the converter will work correctly

Re: TT hand
After he calls your flop bet, go into check-fold mode. Check the river.
