Default ick double donked

Got to love micro (assume typical loose passive table 5+ the flop every hand):

Dealt to me in MP2: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

3 early position limpers, I raise, MP3 calls 2 cold, button calls 2 cold, SB calls.

Flop (15SB - 7 players): Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB bets (DONK), 1st limper calls, 2nd limper reraises (DONK DONK), 3rd limper folds, I call, MP3 calls, button folds, SB calls, 1st limper calls.

I was kind of stunned here. Against one donk I wouldn't think twice about raising that flop. The reraise threw me off here. I think I should have raised it here to see where I really was standing.

Turn (12.5BB - 5 players) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

SB + limpers check, I raise, MP3 folds, rest call.

Ace hits me here and all of a sudden donks go silent. I figure I'm good now and bet it out.

River (16.5BB - 4 players) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

SB + limpers check, I raise, they all call.

I wasn't about to give a free showdown here.

I kind of muttled my way through this hand, but really wasn't sure of any of my postflop plays.

The flopcall is close, but I think with the BDFD it's a good call.
The rest is standard.

I don't think you should have raised here. A call is ok. You have 2 bd draws and 2 overs.

The rest looks good.

It's two bets to you, you have no hand and your overcard outs are pretty weak (reverse dominated) here. You've got a couple people in the pot already, betting and raising into you, what do you think they have? AQ and KQ are pretty common coldcalling hands. Even if someone was betting or raising their FD it pretty much kills your chances at the backdoor. I rambled, but those are my reasons.

also, there is a siginificant chance you'll be facing further multiple bets.

Another good reason.

Not that this really applies to this hand, but in general, I am more liberal calling with overs like KQ, KJ and QJ than I am with AK, because the chance of being reverse dominated is significantly reduced.

hi
i think the flop call is highly thin and i might fold depending on reads of the players.

when you say reraise you mean to say raise.
when you say raise you mean to say bet.
i also don't think these are donkbets but others may disagree.

check out raising overcards.

edit: i might call depending on reads. i likey fold it.

Fair enough. These aren't the classic turn donk bets, but I still find them donkish because they often mean top pair no kicker at this nano level I play at, which I find an odd way to play into a preflop raiser. I think a lot of times they forget that someone raised preflop or don't care. They assume the hand starts fresh on the flop and everybody's on an equal footing again. That's been my experience. It's made me more likely to call in these situations, which will be a bad habit when I break into true micro levels (half way there).

Oh, and MHIG here. SB did indeed have Qxo. The rest had junk.
