Only a few hands on villian at this point, nothing at all really has peeked my interest. I just reread a post by fim about checking when you think villian is on a draw. Thoughts?

Against an unknown, best way to go with TP is pot the flop, 2/3 on the turn, half the river.

Why bet more? Are you serious?
If you are correct in your suspicion that he is on a draw, then you are giving him GREAT odds to draw, especially since you are apparently giving him good implied odds as well. You're ready to release this when another diamond hits? |

Why bet more? Are you serious? [/ QUOTE ] As a matter of fact I am, as I posted before, I never full pot the flop and always 1/2 pot, continuation, draw or otherwise. |

[/ QUOTE ] You need to adjust that upwards, quickly, like starting today; especially multiway like this. Many posters here prefer full pot on the flop. I am in the 3/4 pot school and sometimes do full pot. You really need to be somewhere between 3/4 and full pot for your flop leads most of the time. (and then make your continuation bets etc. that same size) |

I think I'd make a $15 blocking bet on the river. As played, I think you should fold to the river bet.

anyone else like check/calling the turn, blocking the river. unless u can be completely sure hes on a flush draw this should get more value out of smaller aces and smaller pairs.

[/ QUOTE ] I like betting the around the pot on the flop. Check-calling the turn to keep the pot smallish. I also like the idea of check-calling the river assuming no scare card. If the guy was on a diamond draw there is a good chance he will bet the river with nothing, trying to take the pot. By checking your in a good position to pick off the river bluff, whereas he may just fold if you lead. Passion |
