Re: Is there a TOC & when & who\'s playing?
My guess is probably not until they get through the rest of the newly added WSOP Circuit events. This year won't be an invitational; since they have the points system now.

Re: Is there a TOC & when & who\'s playing?
I believe the TOC for 2005 will be held next month, but it's not set in stone yet. It consists of the top 20 in points at each of the 5 WSOP Circuit events, and the final table of the WSOP ME. The 2006 TOC will have the 12 WSOP Circuit ME winners, the 2006 WSOP ME final table, and 6 special invitations.

Thanks, Kev. I wasn't too sure about it myself, thanks for filling us in.

OK, is there a list of the top 20 in points anywhere? Will Raymer be included? Ivey? Greenstein?
Anyone know the list of players? |

Re: Is there a TOC & when & who\'s playing?
Ivey will be in because of his Rio final table. You can count on the final table for each Circuit event, plus another 10-13 more per Circuit event. The points system was used for all the tournaments at each Circuit event. The worldseriesofpoker.com site has the TOC qualifiers for Rio (27 because of ties), Rincon, and AC.

Re: Is there a TOC & when & who\'s playing?
I'm not in unless they start doing some kind of special invite, and happen to choose me. If they do, I will humbly accept. ;-)
Later, Greg Raymer (FossilMan) |
