Re: TP & OESD in position, lots of action
my first instinct is to fold this faster than you can say "".
but I'm not sure it's correct. me thinks you have 8 outs here (6 for the straight that aren't hearts, and 2 4s). But it's possible that you're drawing dead already and can lose a lot of chips if you make your hand. anyway, suppose you have 8 solid outs. The pot has about 200 before the flop. Now assuming everyone else calls this minraise (scary min-raise, btw) you will be getting 4:1 on your call. Definately a fold in my book. |

Folds, sb could re-raise.

Folds, sb could re-raise. [/ QUOTE ] Another reason for folding is that a lot of my outs might not be clean (A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]), and I could be drawing close to dead or chop to a made straight or set, with 3 people liking their hand. |

True dat.
I just saw the action and didn't even pay too much attention to the villain's possible holdings. |

The other thing to consider is that I *am* getting 3.3:1.

Fold preflop, fold on the flop.
BTW why do you play at Pstars? You'd think that it would reduce hourly rate. |

Fold preflop, [/ QUOTE ] Wrong. I will give you as much explanation as you gave me. [ QUOTE ] fold on the flop. [/ QUOTE ] Why? [ QUOTE ] BTW why do you play at Pstars? You'd think that it would reduce hourly rate. [/ QUOTE ] I moved to PStars for WSOP satellites. And I think I like the structure better than Party. Note I play the turbos, not the regular SnGs. |

Re: TP & OESD in position, lots of action
Besides some of your outs not being clean, some of your outs are probably in the hands of your opponents; probably at least one of the Aces.
You've got something there, but I don't think it is enough. |

RESULTS
[ QUOTE ]
You've got something there, but I don't think it is enough. [/ QUOTE ] I agree, though it was painful to fold at the time. I folded. No one ended up getting allin, but by the end of the hand the SB had folded, the BB raised the flop after I folded and ended up showing 65 for the flopped nuts, and MP2 had 33 for a flopped set. |
