You still lose a bit of each table. 1600x1200 is necessary to get the whole table in.

Yeah you're right. I just googled the naitive resolution and its 1680x1050. Might be a good second monitor to help spread out the tables, especially because its dirt cheap. If I didn't only have a laptop I'd definately jump on this.

I have a 2001 FP hooked up to my laptop. works fine. I would assume you could do the same with the 2005, however the 2001 is 1600 by 1200 which is apparently better than the 2005 for multitablers. wonder if that coupon would work for the 2001s...

9" depth? is that screen depth or the base depth, i have a 17" Viewsonic hooked up to my laptop that couldn't be more than 3" deep.

BUT, i am in the market for another monitor, the bigger the bettor, i bought my Viewsonic on ebay for $139, does anybody know if Viewsonic is the way to go for another one?

Doesn't the 1600/1200 make the cards really small? Even though my eyesight is good and i use a four color deck, i still don't like straining my eyes to see the cards.

If somebody could brag to me about their set up i might get a better idea of what i want to get. thanks-

a 20 inch screen with 1600 resolution has a perfect table size IMO. I just got my monitor last month and I absolutely love it. I have it attached to my laptop, and I really don't use the laptop screen, I love the 2001fp so much. The cards are very easy to see.

I have the monitor and 4-tabling is still super easy with very little overlap. There's just a slight top-to-bottom overlap but I just move my bottom two tables down to the action buttons, covering up the chat window. I like the wide screen b/c you have room in the middle of the monitor to be doing other stuff yet still be able to see the edges of the four tables to see when hands are being dealt. It's a nice monitor.
