Is his pf limp really that bad..I mean you're probably going to be at least 4 handed on the flop?

CO, Button, and SB are all loose and passive pf. BB is tight and won't raise from the BB. I'm counting on seeing at least four to this flop, maybe five or six, and probably not putting any more money in pf. I have no problems with the limp, given the circumstances.

i'd limp this 100% of the time at his table.

i mean, one guy open limped with KK! you dont get much more passive than that.

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
SB has 8h 4h (flush, ten high).

Not likely an open limp on account of passive play, but vindication nontheless.

You need to PM Ed Miller and tell him to correct his SSHE starting hands.

I think you are kind of missing the point. I sometimes I will raise here, though if I have the right read I will limp. OP had such a read (as he went on to point out).

The proper play is totally contextual -- the SSHE preflop charts are useful for newer players but they are only guidelines and do not offer a lot of insight into the nuances of preflop play.
