Do Available Hand Histories Make You More Likely to Play Full Tilt?
Apparently, they get saved to a text file on your hard drive and Poker Tracker will be adding support.
I've heard a couple of players speculate that the ability to use Poker Tracker will kill a lot of the games with an influx of tighter and, presumably, better players. Comments? |

FTP hosts players that are either tight and overly aggressive or tight and overly passive. havent run into too many players that shock me. i play 1/2 full 2/4 short and 3/6 short when im on there. this was about 6 weeks ago.

FT is full of fish. PT compatibility might attract a few more TAGs, but it doesn't bother me at all. The fish will still be there.

Lack of pokertracker support has basically been the only thing keeping me from heading there.

Does this site regularly have mid limit games or is it all low limit/no limit?
Thanks, Jeff |

Very rarely. The highest full table I've seen is 15/30. There is some 3-5 handed higher stakes games during peak hours.

Where did you see that pokertracker is adding support? [/ QUOTE ] In the PokerTracker forum, the person behind it said that FTP had consulted with in an effort to make sure the hand histories would be compatible with the software. Plus, if you've looked at the hand histories, it seems like it should be relatively easy to support. As for the SNGs, in my experience, although I don't play them often, you are much less likely to ever see things like three people gone before the first orbit is over. Some people who complain about all-in fests may think that is a good thing. Tight is relative. Most full ring games seem to be in the 25-35% range for flops seen. For 6-max games, you have some in a similar range and some that are over 50%. If you always wanted to play low-limit hold em that wasn't no fold em hold em, this is your site. The pros on the site are fish magnets, especially when they play non hold em games and attract players who normally only play hold em. |

Re: Do Available Hand Histories Make You More Likely to Play Full Tilt?
The 10 and 20 dollar SNGs are VERY soft. The only downside is the structure makes them take longer than Party SNGs.
As an aside my friend was playing a 20 dollar SNG and was shocked to find it was very tight, he was 50minutes in and only 4 had dropped out(As they had been loose all day as they always were.) I joked that maybe the SNGs were getting tougher. He IMed me 10 minutes later that he had just eliminated the last 5 people by himself in the last 5 minutes. |
