I am bad at hand reading
The more I think about it, the more I realize that I don't actively hand read as much as I should, and frankly I think I'm bad at it.
I usually 3 or 4 table 6max games from 50nl to 200nl. Live I play much bigger. Therefore, I resolve to spend one hour per day single tabling and focusing on hand reading every hand, whether or not I'm involved in the pot. Sound good? The Doc |

Re: I am bad at hand reading
When I find myself in phases when I am not paying as much attention as I should, I just systematically open tables one at a time after I get used to the personalities at a table. I don't move on until a few orbits after to see what shows up. Usually the personalities will make themselves apparent and the rest you can assume to be rock/weak-tightish. If you can't keep track of whats happening in every hand, you are probably on too many tables.
Have you tried opening them on at a time? After long stretches of not playing, I am often prone to join 5-10 waitlists just to get onto a good table, and after no time find myself on 5 tables. |

Re: I am bad at hand reading
Good plan.
Also try palm reading, less variants |

Re: I am bad at hand reading
I think paying attention when you first sit down is pretty important to get a feel for the players. After about half an hour, I'm just 2+2ing it and letting GT do the paying attention for me.

Sounds boring. But I'm sure it will help your game.
