[/ QUOTE ] It is mathematically impossible to have a steal be succesful 1/2-2/3 of the time and have 50% equity vs. a call. They work in opposite directions. Also, (I know you understand this, but I dont want to confuse any newbioes) Since the payout is top heavy, it is very +$EV CEV (or TEV) is Tournament chip equity. It is calculated the same way as you calculate EV in a side game. $EV is the amount of real world money you expect to win in a given situation. Many ways to calculate it, none are exact, ICM, and % equity are the most common that I know of. |
