Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter
How bad? I've been on a losing streak, and need some help to break it. Be brutally constructive. Clarkmeister's Theorem:
1. heads-up against thinking player 2. out of position 3. 4th flush card comes on the river You bet with whatever hand you have (flush or not), typically fold to a raise. |

3-bet the flop. TAG has a weaker king as often as he has a jack, and I think he's going to wait till the turn to raise a J pretty often here. I like 3-betting the flop and seeing what happens.
Clarkmeister's theorem says HU, OOP, you should bet if a 4 flush comes in if you don't have a piece of it, in order to fold slightly better hands. I don't think it applies to this hand at this limit. It's not folding a J, and a weaker K is likely to have a heart. ( He'll have one about 75% of the time, I think). |

Put yourself in TAG's place. What hands would you raise with? And how many of those hands does AK beat? KQ? KTs? QTs? I 3-bet this flop. If it gets capped, I consider folding this turn.

On the flop you have two choices.
Either 3-bet or call and lead the turn (stop and go). Since it looked kinda like a freecardplay by tag the heart is pretty scary, but it could be a worse king than yours or a pocket pair. Seeing the showdown in this spot is not a big mistake IMO. But I would bet the river and fold to a raise. |
