Default Have you ever seen anything like this?

Whale buys into a no-max buy-in for at least 2x whatever the rest of the table has combined...every 2nd or 3rd hand, goes all-in blind before the CARDS ARE DEALT. Sometimes he would actually wait for the cards to be dealt and then go all-in without looking.

When that get's boring he'll even go outside and have a cigarette, pushing his rack(s) into the middle as the dealer is shuffling, "I'm all in...I'll be outside having a smoke".

This show runs a couple of times a week!!

Most Casinos would consider his hand dead at the point he leaves the table. Although I guess at super high stakes with a rich whale they might make an exception.

Well, the stakes aren't super-high, but he's the biggest stack in the room, so the Golden Rule applies (He With All The Gold Makes The Rules).

To the previous poster, it's a 5/10 blind game with no cap on the buy-in.

So how does it work when he goes to have a smoke???
He's all in for all the hands dealt during that period till he loses all his cash??
