TJ Suited/Off Suit
Hate this hand in middle position when it is folded to me, on an 'average/quasi tight' table do you:
- Open Raise as a semi steal for MP2 or MP3 - Fold - Open Limp I don't love any of these options, as this hand plays best in a large field (especially suited) and you are pretty much guaranteed a small field with 3-4 folds in front of you, open raising seems to be working best based on my PT stats....would love to hear how everyone is playing this. Thanks |

Re: TJ Suited/Off Suit
I wouldn't play it in MP, especially not while being the first one in.

Re: TJ Suited/Off Suit
Suited = open raise
off suit = fold |

JTs is a much better hand than JTo.

Why? You only make a flush around 4% of the time. I think folks are WAY too in love with suited cards. |

Re: TJ Suited/Off Suit
Suited cards give you more options post flop and allow you to play you hand much faster at times. This helps in picking up pots.
