game was very very good 1 hour ago. now its 3AM and me and one other lag (who plays g00t) are outnumbered 5-2 by nits.
PF lag (~800) opens for 15 from MP, CO the supernit (~380) calls, I (cover) make it 40 with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], lag calls, CO folds. F(100): A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] lag checks, I check T(100): 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] lag bets 80, i make it 240, lag calls R(580): K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] lag checks, I bet $250 flop? turn? river? fim |

I don't see what hand he's willing to put $240 in on the turn with that he won't call $250 for on the river. Maybe higher clubs? Is $250 for you in this spot normally a value bet? If so, does LAG know this?

I do not see any big hand that you might have (represent here). AK will not check that flop. Set will not re-raise that much (maybe 2/3 pot) on turn.
On the river you made it tricky to call. I think only missed draw will fold on the river. He should've called your bet with his pp |

why would you check flop with AK? AK would bet that flop most of the time. You should not allow free card and price any gut straights. What would you like him to catch no turn that he will call your bets with and you will be ahead of?
AK would bet. |

Especially against LAGs, I like to control the pot size somewhat, give them less information and allow them to bluff at me with lesser hands. I would also check AA on this flop fairly often. |

The other obvious alternative is to smoothcall Villain's turn bet. I think this helps sell the river bluff moreso than the huge turn raise.
After Villain calls your turn raise and doesn't throw out a blocking bet on the river, I think it signals that he isn't scared of the river bet that he knows is coming. |

could also be possible for villain to have some sort of draw on the turn.
KJ clubs? I think broadway will come out betting on the river. I assume villain knows you are solid. |
