Default Reading a \"pro\" at the WSOP

$1500 PL event. Shortly after break, and I am at about 1/3 average chips with 925. Blinds are 50-100, and I am first in from the CO with KJo. Button folds, Kristy Gazes who has ~2500 total chips calls from the SB, and Unknown player call in the BB. Flop is J23 rainbow, and KG bets out 750, BB folds.

I have 625 chips left. There is 1500 in the pot. What do I need to be thinking about to ascertain her holding, and do I call?

I voted for some kind of J. I think she really has to have something here to be betting into two players, one of whom seems to be very commited to this pot with less then 10 BBs before raising. I could see AJ possibly checking, but I think that that is the most likely holding, 222 and 333 and possibilities but they would likely check.

I voted call btw because I think QJ is possible and maybe even J-10, J-9, and you are very commited.

I would expect an underpair to the flop here, trying to push you off of whiffed overs. Top pair is also possible, but why not give you the chance to put your money in with a worse hand if she hit that? Either way, I don't think you can fold top pair with your short stack.

I know at the time it was a harder call cause its a big tournament and all, but cmon, there is no way you can fold this hand here.

I think if she has a J then she checks and gives you a chance to bluff at it.
I think she has an underpair like TT and knows she's going to call so she preempts. If she checks and calls then she has to worry about BB trapping her.

She would have almost definitely reraised AJ pf, and she isn't going to bet a set like that.

I also don't see her playing TPTK like that either. If you folded this or were behind on the flop, I will check to see if the sun rises from the east tomorrow.

If you folded this, I'm reaching through your monitor and slapping you. That's my opinion.

BTW I put her on 77-99

Your opinion is you will reach through and slap me? Or that I shouldn;t have folded.

I could use a good slap.
