Default A 10 against fishy

Villain has played about half his hands. No solid reads though.

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, 2 folds, SB completes, BB checks.

Are you guys raising this in this spot?

Flop: (4 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero calls, SB folds, BB folds.

Weak? Should I raise?

Turn: (3 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero ???

I just didn't like the feel of this hand. I must admit I'm not used to this LAGGY of a game. Most of the hands were 4 to the river. To much time on cryptos I guess. Don't get me wrong though, I'm liking it.

I'm torn between calling and raising preflop after 1 limper. I don't think it makes much of a difference either way.

I fold the flop. I don't see how you could possibly justify raising this flop with nothing but one overcard and a backdoor straight draw.

There are no good draws out there, so what is UTG+1 betting besides a pair?

And the pot is only 4 SB.

I would isolate with ATo if UTG+1 is the fish.

If the limper is weak, and he is here, then we should raise.

Are you talking about raising preflop or raising the flop?

Raising preflop I have no problem with, but raising the flop with only 1 overcard and a shitty BD straight draw is not a good idea.

fold the flop, fold the turn. If you continue with this hand I think a flop raise would be in order. In this case I fold to a turn bet and bet if checked to, and check/fold the river UI.

A flop raise here makes no sense at all.

Do you see why?

It would force the blinds to fold and increase the chance of winning the pot. Are you saying that the pot is too small to make this profitable? Is it better than calling?

I don't really think it makes much of a difference. If you really think that you can isolate the limper then I like raising here to buy the button, and to knock out the blinds. But this is impossible to do in most of the games I play in.
