Default Hey OOT, what do you think of this car.

So, despite the fact that i probably drive like ten miles a week, i now have to get a new car since my old one died. As im still just a small stakes grinder, and especially since im hoping to spend a couple of years in costa rica soon, im just wanting something that will last 12-18 months. What we think about this ?

hum,,, apparently the link wont go directly to the page. Sorry about the extra work, but sort by year, and its the green 93 explorer.

thanks a ton

peace

Yo man, I was born and raised in the car business and I think buying that car is just asking for trouble in terms of reliability.

The tranny on these is just awesome. That's why they replace them so often .

I had a friend with one of those and I can't tell you how many times I had to drive because his car wasn't working.

Well, that and I'm a better driver.

dont go with these imo. get a toyo/honda/mistu type vehicle. one of those brands that will last a long time with high miles. if you get some junk buick you are just asking to have the car end up at the mechanics once a month.

what he said... basically

On that not this one only has 16K miles and is under $1K

Linky

I don't get it. Why so cheap??? If it is in good shape I would MUCH MUCH rather go with that one than any 160K car on its last leg.
