New Party T&C's on Pop-up

Seems like Party are preparing for a clampdown. The new T&C's are automatically assumed to be agreed (via the pop-up) next time you log in. The wording looks to have been strengthened somewhat.

Highlights (for want of a better phrase)..........

So in theory this effectively gives them the right to do whatever they want.

I seriously don't care about the bonuses. I just want to 8-table.

I doubt that as well. They may implement some form of stauncher rule for making sure that they aren't taken advantage of come bonus time, but the fish LOVE these bonii just as much as we do.

I think taking advantage of them is exactly what most of us have in mind. A better question might be if their long term policy plans include allowing those who regularly play multiple skins and generate money for the sites will continue to be allowed to do so.

In any case its starting to me to look like there is some actual planned long term strategy gradually taking effect. It's pretty clear that vagueness is continuing to be their standard operating procedure. I think they intend that the average player will not be scared away by major changes. The most likely scenario is they have a list of loopholes that are gradually being addressed and there will not be any radical policy changes.

I think this is not what people are thinking some way of controlling the players I think its more about forcing the skins out. Although there is will be some sort of bonus abuse protvtion element behind it.

We seem to be seeing the slow strangulation of the skins business, if you have 1 account its going to be at party as they have the jackpot tables, better tournaments etc etc. Every recent change they have implemented to me seems designed to get people away from the skins and onto party and the features havent been shared with the skins.

I suspect they plan to get Empire into a position where they can buy them out or that they feel they cannot continue.

With Party floating they are becoming more ruthless in protecting their business and I dont see what Empire brings to the table for them (Coral I can with the links to the sports betting).

Think about what would happen if Party took money from a person who was a poster here, and the person offered up legitimate proof that their funds were confiscated for having multiple skins.

There would be a run on cashouts like you wouldn't believe, and not just at "Party" but the other skins as well. I'm not saying havoc would ensue, but I can't imagine anyone here wouldn't at least refrain from depositing large sums to party, in the face of a legitimate claim.

Can they take away Rakeback? Yes, for the most part, it's against their T&C. Can they implement new and better ways for a user to only have 1 skin? I forsee it as a their first step, if this truly is a problem for them. Can they close your accounts because of this? Yes, I certainly think it's withing their rights, should they deem it necessary, but I certainly doubt they would do so while confiscating funds. They are a multi-million dollar industry, they don't need the pittance in your account, nor the hassle that would entail.

For the time being, I'm not too worried.

so make an account under yer dads name, yer moms name, yer sisters name, and yer dogs name. ok, not yer dog. no doggy id. but still, this doesnt really change things for me anyway. ill continue to 12 table and they will continue to generate rake from me. win win, why would they want a change. holla

if they didn't want a change the wouldn't make changes. I think they are trying to limit the number tables played by good players that profit from the site, and keep that money cerculating. Only thing that makes much since givin what they are saying. So ya, they may have a problem with players that profit long term playing 12 tables. BUT, if you are a losing player, I doubt they'd say a word.
