I have about 115 megs of text files on the hard-drive, is there any reason to keep them around? When I back up, I only need to burn the poker and HH databases, right?

Safe to delete processed txt files.
You could be safe and have PT export all HH and tourney histories on database onto a CD, 2nd HD, or USB flash memory card. If something really bad happened on day, you could simply import them to a fresh install. |

I'd put text files to CD-R and put it somewhere at book shelf as a backup. PT is nice software but every computer program once crashes. I'd prefer to have an option to reload hand histories then.

[/ QUOTE ] You can just backup the database periodically using Acess. It will take up less space and be a lot less tedious. |
