UB Comes Through!!

Well, don't know if you guys remember THIS post a while back. Well after a couple days and a lot of complaining, UB gave me 2 TECs and $18, which I thought was not bad. Then today I get this email (almost a month later):

I agree...this really gave me a lot more respect for UB, I wrote them back to tell them this.

I've had problems with UB from day one. I once lost the $50 I had on the table when the site crashed, I had to complain for days just to get my money back. I never got anything "extra", much less any type of apology.

I bitched about something that happened to me in a tourney. I was in a $10+1 multi and I emailed them about 3-4 times about some retarded thing.

I got an email about 3 days later saying we're sorry we will credit your account.

The next day I wake up and see 11 TEC's in my acct. I couldnt help but wonder if they meant to give me my $11 back instead. I was floundering with a $300 bankroll at the time, and this really took me for a loop.

I never asked any questions and sold them off ASAP and tripled my bankroll.

When UB screws up it seems they go crazy to make it up to you.

I just read your orig thread, and I have to say I'm very surprised they gave you anything. I mean you definitely got screwed, but it sounds like the software malfunctioned and they did exactly what they said they would do in the T&C. I don't think they legally/ethically owed you anything. Which of course makes this gesture even nicer.
