Default Neteller Debt Card

Anyone ever have issues getting one of these? My account is 100% legit, with all real information.

I ordered the card 3 weeks ago tomarrow. I needed it for a trip I was taking this coming weekend so I sent an email asking for a status update on the card just to make sure it was shipped and everything was ok. I get a reply back that they have canceled that card and are sending me another one.

Obviously this new card has no chance of getting to me in time for a trip this weekend so it looks like I'm screwed.

Anyone else have problems getting there card, or taken extra time to get it?

A debt card? That doesn't sound very useful at all.

I got mine in about 12 days (regular days, not business days).

OK, on my 3rd attempt I finally got someone on the Phone there. Must be some problems today. First 2 times I gave up after about 30 rings once I hit #1 for customer service. Last try I just waited, and after about 50-60 rings someone answered.

Anyway after talking to 2 different people and holding for about 20 minutes I got the right department. He explained that it should never take mroe than 7 buisness days to get there. He then offered to send a new one to me via FedEx for $10 and I should get it within 2 days.

Should work out perfect. Main reason I wanted it before the weekend is I'm taking a little trip with my wife for our anniversery. Everything is paid for, and spending cash is on hand but I was cutting things a little close and I really wanted access to my Neteller funs 'Just in Case'.

Moral of the story when it doubt use phone support instead of email. It might take awhile but you usually end up with better results.

Make sure you use an ATM that you put the card into, and slide it out immediately. I wouldn't want you going through the pain that I went through a few weeks ago after an ATM ate my card while I was on a trip. After pleading with the bank, they wouldn't budge to give me my card back.

After the weekend, I called Neteller, and they said it is common practice for some banks to take cards without names on them.

Just a forewarning.

Wow! Great tip! I never even thought of that as an issue.

Card Swipe atm hunting I shall go. Now if I can find an ATM with a swipe, and a $500+ maxx withdraw my life shall be complete.

Ever have any problems using it at POS terminals? In a resturaunt, or at the local Best Buy or whatever?

Isn't there a per transaction fee? like $2

I wouldnt use it for less than a couple hundred dollars.

At $500 that is .4% not to bad.
At $50 that is 4% which is awful.

ok to be clear you can't use the neteller card anywhere with MC / VISA logo, it's not an MC/VISA card. You can use it anywhere on the star or pulse network look for those logos
