Worst... Player... Ever....
The guy who won the WSOP omaha tournament is probably the worst n00bie ever.
"STRAIGHT.. I've got the straight.." I forgot his name. He playing Lee Watkinson Heads-Up Sorry if this has been discussed before but it's the worst thing I have ever seen on TV. Even celebrity poker. Blackjack |

Re: Worst... Player... Ever....
yes, judging a player on one play that was on tv is obviously correct. Good job. He obviously has no skill whatsoever, since he misread his hand one time on tv. I remember one time when Vladimir Guererro grounded into a double play on a 3-0 count with the bases loaded. He is the Worst... Player... Ever....

Or when he had the lowest possible boat against Freddie's full house, but had no clue he lost.

Or when he had the lowest possible boat against Freddie's full house, but had no clue he lost. [/ QUOTE ] I just saw this episode for the first time yesterday and the full house was the best. Misreading the board happens, but his misunderstanding of hand values on that one was great. Lawson: "I have a full house!" Deeb: "Me too." Lawson: "FIVES FULL OF EIGHTS!!!!!!!!111111111" (lowest possible FH) Deeb: "?" Lawson: (STAREDOWN OF DOOM) Deeb: "Uh, eights full of fives." Lawson: "?????" |

Re: Worst... Player... Ever....
He seemed a lot less excited and more matter of fact when he showed the 5s.

Re: Worst... Player... Ever....
Maybe, I forget now. Still it was funny that he couldn't recognize that he had the worst FH possible and that when Freddy said he had a FH, he still showed confidently.

[/ QUOTE ] Way to jump on a guy's post because of ONE quote he made. Good work. OP here is right. His name is Ted Lawson, and he is atrocious, or at least every single play they showed on tv was more or less terrible. To be honest, it seemed like most of the play was very poor. But his was more atrocious than the rest. That, and he wasa a total prick, standing up and angrily announcing whatever his hand was whenever there was a big hand. Re: Worst... Player... Ever....
I've played at the same table as a guy who has been in multiple TV events who misread his hand. The pot was huge and the board read KKT77. His opponent showed 44, and he mucked, claiming he had 33! |
