I don't really care for the flop cap.

Good PF.

Flop wou went overboard. Villain has raised PF which highly suggests he has Kings when he bets and 3-bets the flop. With no reads I'll raise this flop since the pot is getting big and call his 3-bet since we odds to draw to our 2 outs. Since we didn't improve on the turn I would fold.

There are 10.5 SB in the pot pf. after the bet, raise, 3 bet, there are 15.5 SB. The odds against hitting a set are 22:1. So, if you believe that you only have 2 outs, you would also have to believe that you can win another 6.5 SB from your opponent in order to have the implied odds to justify a call. I don't think you can count on that much action.

I probably fold the flop to the 3 bet.

Booooo. 17.5:1. 2 Qs, backdoor straight draw.

The only way a cap was good here is if you are determined to show down, know it will slow down villian, and check behind on the river, saving yourself 0.5SB when you're behind. I think that's still a crappy play though.

Given that villian raised preflop, called a 3-bet and then bet into you I don't think you're in great shape. If anything I think your best play might be to call and re-evaluate on the turn. The pot is big, and it's already HU.

EDIT: I miscounted the odds, but I'm leaving it up there. It's actually 16.5:1 which makes it a lot closer, and probably a fold. The rest of the post is fine.
