Read on MP3 in hand 1? I think I like the way you played it, and since I'd like to show it down I think this is a check-call river. I'm not entirely sure though.
Hand 2 seems tough. I'm not sure I raise the flop. Maybe a call down from there. Seeing an ace or queen would suck, but CO's cap means something. |

hand 1: flop c/r is ok, my default is to check/call flop but that might be too weak to do that all of the time. If Villain is moderately aggressive I might 3-bet PF.
hand 2: I play it the same. I'd probably bet if checked to on turn/river. |

Hand #1 is fine.
Hand #2 muck preflop. I like KJs too, but why are you calling with an easily dominated hand. |

Hand #1 is fine. Hand #2 muck preflop. I like KJs too, but why are you calling with an easily dominated hand. [/ QUOTE ] Without a read of Villian being passive PF or not much of a stealer, this PF 3-bet is automatic for me. Maybe its because I play an equal amount of full and 6-max, but I think 3-betting here is standard. Villain is raising from CO and has a pretty wide range of hands, some of which Hero's KJs is dominating. |

If your up against a LAG, then i agree with you. But, IMHO, your at best a coinflip around 50% of the time, dominating 25%, and being dominated 25% of the time. Give me 66-99 or AQ or better, then you should be isolating. IMHO, you should wait until you have a larger edge and push it then. Yes, you could be way ahead of him, but remember, hands like KJ, AT make expensive 2nd best hands.

What range of hands do you think CO will open with? I think its a lot larger than you think.

Hand #2 muck preflop. [/ QUOTE ] CO opened meaning his range of hands is really wide. This is an easy 3-bet IMO. I would probably call down since he capped. |

Hand 1: Why don't you bet/fold the river?

Bet/fold the river in hand one is defintely an option, but were HU the whoe hand and the chance that MP3 will bluff-raise the river may be too high to use that line. Instead we can check/call and snap off a bluff.
