Its the key and they also seem to be revealing a lot more upcoming games at E3 compared to the xbox which I think is the other key thing.

But really both systems will have most of the bigger games. Everyone knows that. There will still be a few unique titles to both systems, but the real decision for most people will be - "Which system do I want to play all the big cross-platform titles on?" I have to wait until closer to the launches to determine the answer to that question in relation to the public's needs/desires. For me it doesn't matter... I'll still end up buying both, and probably the next Nintendo, too. One basically has to if they want to play all the quality games. Move along... just video game talk! |

Re: PS3
We have 2 PS2's and two gamecubes in our house with 20-30 games for each system (as well as a load of PS1 games).
I dont think their is a real decision for me, backward compatibilty becomes more of a concern thna anything, although the fact that the machines are so cheap could mean we get an xbox2 as well. I feel that is the biggest obstacle for the xbox it needs to be substantially better than PS3 to get people to change. At this point I dont think it is. |
