Do red and/or white wine need to be refrigerated after opening.

Never refrigerate a good red. Keep the white cold.

White is generally served cold and red at room temp, but storage is a different beast. You won't ruin a red by keeping it in the fridge, and it's less likely to go bad if you don't plan on drinking it right away. If you just plan on drinking it the next day or something, there's no harm in just leaving it out, either.
