Re: Deadwood
In last weeks episode when Tom Nutall is off riding his bike and William Bullock is left alone with Steve (I think that his name), Steve tells the boy something to the affect of "lets not tell anyone else about this". My friend thought there was some pedophile subtext there, while I thought Steve gave William some gift. Anyone else care to share any insights.

Re: Deadwood
I read the same subtext, and wondered the same thing. We'll have to see if anything comes from that.

Re: Deadwood
Steve was giving the kid some money. Hoping to suck up to the sheriff by befriending the kid.
No pedophilia here. He *tells* the kid to put in a good for him with the old man. |

Re: Deadwood
I have enjoyed Season 2 a lot more than the first season. I thought beginning and end of Season 1 was good and the middle was only so-so. So far 2 has been good all the way through.

Re: Deadwood
Season 2 is nowhere near as good as Season 1. Not close. Still better than 90 percent of what is on network TV, but IMHO, it's nowhere near the quality of Season 1.
