I think betting is the worst of your river options. Either check call or check fold depending on the opponent.

why? Is a weak ace a common button open limping hand?

I'm with smiley. Value bet good hands and bluff nothing on the river here, but check/call the mediocre hand you've got.

I disagree. I think two randomish cards are much more likely.

He open-limped pf on the button. It wouldn't shock me if he turned over 2 UNO cards.

You're missing the point. The only way a bet bet bet line is correct with a pair of threes is if your opponent is likely to pay off with a worse hand. Whats the most likely worse hand to call with? Ace high. If he doesnt have ace high and hes calling you down he probably has you beat.

Setup!

Seriously though, check/call this river. If he calls a bet chances are you are beaten. I know he openlimped, but I still don't see a river bet being your most profitable option. Think of all the times you can get him to bluff by checking or win the free showdown. If he calls your bet, you are not good 50% of the time.
