PL Party $1000 - single suit flop
I dont have a read against this player as it is within the first 2 orbits and I have not played with him before.
I have about $1000, Button has me covered. Folded to me in the CO and I make it $35 with black Kings. Button Calls both blinds fold. Flop is T82 all clubs. I bet $70. Button calls. Turn is 4d I bet $222. Button raises to $888. If I call I am all-in with $70 more. Should I call and did I play the flop and turn ok? Thanks, Phil |

Re: PL Party $1000 - single suit flop
The only thing I think you are beating here is AcTx which probabyl wouldnt have called 3.5bb pf. I fold but I dont play this high or anywhere close to it. Just thought I would share my thoughts though.

Re: PL Party $1000 - single suit flop
This is tough w/ no read - hands you beat = JcJ, QcQ and AcTx. Hands you don't AA, AxC, any connector in clubs, any set.
You're only drawing dead to Axc, and will have 7 outs vs. a flush and 11 against a set. So unless he has AcQc, you're probably ok. So w/out knowing if this guy can semi-bluff, he probably does have you beat, but you never know... would do more analaysis but am too lazy right now. |

Doesnt QQ reraise preflop? I can see JJ just calling.

Re: PL Party $1000 - single suit flop
probably, but not always - many people flat call w/ QQ to see if the flop is safe and so they don't get blown off the hand preflop. I'm more of a NL player though, so not sure how PL changes this.
