Man, who opened the doors to the asylum tonight?
Ejection #1: I just finished my down at a table and moved on to the next. The table I just left was great - lots of action, everyone seemed to be having a great time and there were 3 generous dealers from 2 different casinos playing. Maybe 4 or 5 hands later, I hear a guy from that table FREAKING out, screaming and yelling. I look over to see one of the Blackjack dealers from a neighboring casino standing up and hurling racial slurs at a Hispanic girl at the table. He was REALLY going nuts. I mean he really looked like he was going to kill this girl. The floor people and security are on him instantly and he's ejected immediately. This dealer actually had his "Mountain High Blackjack" shirt on, black pants and shoes, etc.. What a dipsh*t. Apparently, he hit a gutshot on the river and beat the Hispanic girl who had 2 pair. The Hispanic girl said "You bastard..." under her breath. Witnesses say that she wasn't being aggressive or mean, it was more in a playful sort of way like "You got me man..." This girl plays almost every night and is cool as hell. I can’t imagine her being nasty - ever. Even if she was being nasty, it's no excuse for this guy to go berzerk the way he did. And this dealer stands up in full uniform and rages away, spewing forth racial slurs for all of the poker room to hear. Every person in the room was looking at him. WTF was he thinking? Ejection #2: Two grumpy Asian players (guy and girl) are verbally abusing me every hand (Omaha 8/B), throwing cards, throwing chips, etc. BTW, I only mention that they are Asian because I can hardly understand them except for the "Lousy dealer", "Bad dealer", etc. comments. After a few hands I tell them "Please stop throwing cards and chips guys." They ignore me. A couple of hands later, a deck change is required because the guy tosses his cards and one flies off of the table. Other players at the table were saying things like "Let's just play cards" and "Isn't this supposed to be fun?" These two were out of control and affecting the game, so I wave the floor person over. While the floor person is walking over, a player has had enough and gets up. The Asian guy has a Seat Change button and stands up to take the leaving players seat. He pushes his chips to seat 5 and walks around the table. He gets to seat 5 and whips the seat change button at me, hitting me straight in the chest. The floor person was standing right there...instant ejection. The guy demands that the Colorado Div. of Gaming get called because he swears that he didn’t throw the chip at me. LMAO - the whole table saw it. The Asian chick freaked out even more of course, demanding that she be allowed to sit out until a "good" dealer comes in without getting a penalty for missing the blinds. The floor denies this ridiculous request of course. I gently toss a missed blind button her way when it's her BB and she refuses to answer my prompt for her blind. An hour later, the CDOG arrives, interviews a bunch of us and tells the douchebag to accompany the security guy to the casino exit. I really do not like seeing people being tossed out. I figure that the offenders, when telling the story to their friends, will warp any story to make it look we were the asssholes regardless of what the truth is, so we may lose players. On the other hand, if we allowed said douchbags to ramain, the decent people would not allow it and leave. Either way, it's a bad scene. Whatever...interesting night though. Boot 'em all. Good riddance. A-holes in poker rooms cause more problems than they are worth, and the only ones they are going to scare off after their ejections are their friends, who are probably A-holes too.

Glad to hear the room cares about keeping out riff-raff like this.
Most poker managers seem reluctant to eject the obnoxious, thinking that they are losing a customer. They don't see that allowing the creep to stay costs them a lot more than ONE customer, as the rest of the players decide that playing in this room with these idiots is not an enjoyable experience. |

The manager of this room was a dealer in CO and CA for several years himself and is cool as hell, so the "No Dealer Abuse" rule is STRICTLY enforced. Frankly, this deal with the idiot throwing a button at me and getting ejected immediately by the floor person was encouraging in that it showed that other floor persons will actually stand behind us, not just the manager of the room. |

Yup!
I hate aholes NOT being dealt with in poker rooms, it's been a while since I have seen someone get that out of line though, good stories! I only recall one guy during a tourney and still having chips being removed, when he threw cards at a dealer and said the dealer called him a MOFO. He was then argumentative with other players, and a couple of them not even at his table said they'd like to kick his arse. I saw the dealer months later and asked him about it, he said that guy was normally fine, but a complete jackass when he drinks... and banned from many poker rooms because of it. >TW< |

Agree with Al, being from TX, where casino card rooms are not legal and home games are abundant, I spend alot to get to casinos. The reason I do that is for the atmosphere. Next to inconsistencies in how the rules are applied, players who are allowed to be a$$holes make the cost of getting to a casino not worth it some times.

[/ QUOTE ] I am not Asian, but I also don't think it was necessary to single them out as Asian (making the wanker comment understandable). If he said that the offensive players kept calling him a lousy dealer with a thick accent that he could hardly understand, that would be sufficient. Identifying them as Asian adds absolutely nothing to the story. Arseholes come in all shapes and sizes. |

If they were foreign with thick accents, you may picture russian, turkish, scandanavian, israeli, mexican, etc. But whats the big deal if he points your mind to the right continient of origin. We all know that two rude people at a table does not indict a whole race. |
