Some WPT observations...
1) Relentless Jennifer Harman chest shots. Not that I'm complaining.
2) Daniel Negreanu acts like an [censored]. 3) Move in specialist is a fancy way of saying bad player. |

Daniel may personalized his autographs with poor grammar, but he was quite entertaining tonight.

Re: Some WPT observations...
At the end says i thought it was gonna be easy. C'mon Daniel. I think he's probably an ok kid but he needs to leave the arrogance at the door. Even Layne Flack says there isn't that much difference in all the top pros. And that it comes down to whose running better at the time. Yet daniel i think believes he's da man! And others are beneath him. let's see when he starts running bad.

Re: Some WPT observations...
His comment probably had more to do with the fact that he had a huge chip lead than a cocky attitude. I'm sure he has tons of respect for at least Jennifer and Humberto, but he had the rest of the table outchipped going in. He probably should win that most of the time.

Re: Some WPT observations...
Yes it had to do with the chip lead. But it also had to do with his ego.

Re: Some WPT observations...
earlier in the episode they had a segment where he said that it was going to be very tough for him to win even with his huge chip-lead.
I have no very few problems with Daniel's personality. Agree that Humberto was acting like an ass. But this isn't unusual for him at all. Have you seen the coverage of the 2002 WPO from Tunica on ESPN (pre WPT coverage)? Humberto is walking around signing very badly to whatever crap is playing on his headphones while Seidel is trying to make a decision. Sure it's strategic to try to mess with Seidel...but Humberto was REALLY classless and a total ass. |
