Re: making money on the Party Bad Beat tables
Win More.
You can do this by guessing preflop which hands are less likely to be winners and folding them instead of putting money in. Some players in this forum are so good at this that they can choose to put money in preflop as little as 17% of the time. |

Re: making money on the Party Bad Beat tables
well, I was down over $400 1000-1500 hands ago but after looking at my session tab carefully I noticed that I won consistently when the average pot was $23. Since I sat down at tables with an avarage pot of $23 I have come back to break even
I would obviously have a larger BB/100 if I wasn't playing on the bad beat tables because of the less rake and my VP$IP for J8s(and similar hands) wouldn't be 100%... |

I was going to say that playing the BBJ tables can be a good idea because the games are sometimes softer and that can easily make up for the extra rake. But one of the reasons the games are softer is people chase the jackpot. If you can't play these tables without worrying about the jackpot then you need to stop playing them. |

You don't play the BBJ tables any diferrently. If you hit a BBJ, great, but the point is the extra rake is offset by jackpot fish. Don't be one of those fish. |
