Time to report those numbers for week two. Here are some fun facts from Week 1 [not including the donks who didn't report].

Average # hands played: 4254.6
Most hands played: 11430
Least hands played: 486
Biggest lead: Perseus vs. climber / 4030 hands
Smallest lead: einbert vs. mantasm / 186 hands [which has apparently widened]

Online = 18292
Live = 34.75 hours @ 35 hands per hour = 1216

Total = 19508 (still on track for my estimated 40K)

Very few cardrooms actually get out 35 hands/hr.

I tend to agree but that is the standard set for the Open Challenge.

However, with the use of automatic shufflers 30 hands an hour is easily possible and 35 does happen.

As a former dealer we were expected to deal 32-40 an hour so its not entirely without merit.

Feel free to own me again this week Perseus...I'm out of town for the long weekend already so my play is finished for the week.

14,739 hands so far this month.

Mostly 3/6 with a bit of 5/10 6MAX. I seem to have finally moved permanently to 5/10 6MAX this last week and am doing well so far this month. Despite my monetary gain I have a feel Perseus may have me sporting a pretty lame avatar for the next month.

Thanks to a nasty neck injury keeping me out of rugby and 12 easy credits to finish my college career I've had a lot of free time to golf/poker/drink/rinse/repeat.

Will be slowing down alot next week though so the door is open...

I'm thinking about dropping out of this as the Number of hands I thought i'd get in (based off of my average the last couple of months) is nothing near the amount of hands that I am getting in.
I'm not sure if i've just gotten better at multi-tabling or if i've had more down-time this month than any before it.

Eithor way, i've played a little over 10k hands this month allready.

Well, poop. I think according to the rules that I made I'm just going to have to say that you will win and I get a new avatar. We could change the rules for making a handicap later in the month, but then people could underperform and ask for one which I think sucks. Maybe if someone is smart they could think of some rule to avoid this where one person meets their goal but gets totally outdone by someone who overshoots their goal.

Anyway, for what its worth, I am on goal still at 5,201 + 100 MTT hands = 5,301 total. Being swamped with work so even though I would like to take a crazy shot at catching you I have no chance. But hey, I'm always happy to see someone do better than they ever expected so you deserve a win.
