Default Pink Tutu Syndrome? (2 hands)

One of the upswings from my recent ass-straightening (poker-wise) is that I've made very few postflop plays that resembled anything like spewing chips. However, sometimes I go back through some of these hands and ask myself "Am I too timid with power hands, or am I suffering from MUB/Pink Tutu Syndrome?"

Crypto $1/$2 Limit, no reads all around 4tl

Hand the First:
Hero has [A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]] on the Button.
Edit: Villain is MP3. (Fixed!)

----- PREFLOP -----
5 folds, Villain raises, CO 3-bets, Hero caps, 2 folds, Villain calls, CO calls.

----- FLOP ----- [4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]]
Villain bets, CO calls, Hero raises, Villain 3-bets, CO folds, Hero caps, Villain calls.

----- TURN ----- [4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]][7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]]
Villain bets, Hero calls.

----- RIVER ----- [4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]][7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]][7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]]
Villain bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 14.5 BB

Hand the Second:

Hero has [A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]] in the Small Blind.
Villain is in the Cutoff.

----- PREFLOP -----
4 folds, CO (Villain) calls, Button calls, Hero raises, BB folds, Villain calls, Button calls.

----- FLOP ----- [K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]]
Hero bets, Villain raises, Button calls, Hero calls.

----- TURN ----- [K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]][A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]]
Hero bets, Villain raises, Button folds, Hero calls.

----- RIVER ----- [K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]][4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]]

Messed that bit up... MP3 should act before Villian.

You need to raise that turn in hand 1. Villian 3 bet preflop so he most likely has TT-KK, he is hardly ever going to have a 6 or a set. I'd cap the turn but then just call the river if he still bet out.

3 bet the flop in hand 2, your hand is good here often. If he caps the flop then call down.

Calling down after he raises your turn bet is fine.

Hand 1: I think you have to raise the turn. If he's a tight, straightforward player, I cap.

Hand 2: I probably 3-bet the flop and lead the turn. If I call the villain's flop raise, it's because I intent to c/r the turn. I don't like the stop and go.

Hand 1

Unless villain is LAGtastic, the only hand that has a 6 in it that he's raising PF is A6. I think it's difficult to narrow his holdings down to just that. He's more likely to have overcards possibly with a flush draw, or an overpair. Raise the turn. I'd probably even cap here, but then maybe I'm being LAGtastic.

Hand 2

3-bet the flop. He probably doesn't have an 8 and you have button trapped between you two. If he caps you can think about calling down if you don't improve on the turn. I think if you 3-bet this flop the hand plays differently.

You improved on the turn. His turn raise is a bit troubling but I would still 3-bet here. You have top two pair so you can't just just hide in the corner.
