What\'s wrong with this picture?
Battle royale on the 2/4 table here. Read on CO based on 550ish hands is TA-A with VPIP 14.83%, PFR 7.23%, AvgAgg 4.74. The other three players are as close to dead money as you can get without going over.
Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter Preflop: Pokey is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, MP3 calls, CO raises, 1 fold, Pokey 3-bets, BB calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls. My raise is standard. Seeing a raised flop with five players is not. Flop: (18 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 players) Pokey bets, BB calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP3 calls, CO raises, Pokey 3-bets, BB calls, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls. Rainbow flop, I have second set. It's very coordinated, but I'm not going to slow down on the off chance that someone has AQ or Q9 here. One raiser who doesn't cap is encouraging; nobody folds. Ridiculous. Turn: (17 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players) Pokey bets, BB calls, UTG+1 calls, MP3 calls, CO raises, Pokey 3-bets, BB calls, UTG+1 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls. Betting the blank. CO again raises but doesn't cap. I'm really starting to wonder what he has, but there is no freakin' WAY that my pot equity is less than 20% here. River: (32 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players) Pokey checks, BB checks, UTG+1 checks, MP3 folds, CO bets, Pokey calls, BB calls, UTG+1 calls. Final Pot: 36 BB (Yeah, that's 36BBs. Biggest pot I've ever seen at 2/4.) Crying call. I can't ever be sure enough that trips are beaten here to walk away from a pot with over 30BBs. So...what's the story here? Anything look more stupid than my usual plays? |

Re: What\'s wrong with this picture?
Seems fine to me. Sucks to lose a big one, but thats how it goes. Wait til you play some 5/10 6max and you cap the flop turn and river with middle set against a maniac and lose to top set .
