Assume a typical PP 15 game.
1 very loose player who will see most flops for 1-2bets 1-2 semi-loose players who will call with average hands, you know the 30-40VPIP types. Rest of the table are TAGs What do you think about open limping with these hands in early position? KQs KJs QJs QTs JTs 77 A9s A8s |

Personally, unless the game is shorthanded, I never limp as the first person to act in the front 3 unless we're talking about a loose-passive table where I know that I will get good odds to see flops with these weak-marginal hands. If you don't see winning a lot of BB's coming from your limp, don't play.
This situation is one where you're looking to expoit the few bad players all over and the tight players in the back. Your table still has too many good players to play weak and enough bad players to pounce on. I say fold these hands. |

I would never fold KQs in an unraised pot from any position.

KQs KJs QJs QTs JTs 77 A9s A8s [/ QUOTE ] KQs - raise KJs-JTs - limp 77 - I like to limp though I believe there are merits for all 3 A9s-A8s - fold I think this is pretty standard though the overly tight guys are mucking those suited broadways up front. |

If so - start limping in with those Ax suited hands. The Party 15 might not be the place to run them, but in live games in most casinos during most times of the day up to about the $10-$20 game (and sometimes even higher), you're getting the correct type of tables to open-limp UTG with all sorts of hands, given the massive number of people that will see the flop. KQs I would raise half the time and limp half the time regardless. QTs and JTs are folds in EP for me. The are just to easily dominated to play out of position. |

Agreed with previous, except minus the Axs. If the loose players are directly to the left of me (so they'll call before being raised out by the TAGs) makes KJs JQs J10s limpable, and since you're never gauranteed to get the right number of callers, probably just muck 77. KQs easy raise.
