Default My Conversation with Empire about my Party account

So tonight I started an Empire account to finally take advantage of rakeback, but after depositing I received an email that they needed to talk to me to verify my account.
I call, everything is going fairly standard, until the operator asks if I also have a Party account.
Ummmmm, no I don't?
But, Scott yes you do, it says so right here.
Ummm, oh Party, yes I do.
A few more basic questions and I'm verified and good to go.
So, I guess it wasn't such a big deal afterall?
Either way, they know, and it still worked, so perhaps everyone can be happy.

funny story - when i opened an empire account (also had a party, both using the same neteller) they called to make sure it was me. my housemates had be 'scamming' the party referral bonus, they made something like 32 accounts. anyway, empire had to read off a list of names to ask if each one of mine. of course these accounts werent mine, and i really had no idea my roommates had made this many accounts. it was pretty funny sitting there saying 'no thats not me, nope not me, again... not me' about 30 something times. now that ive typed this, its really not that funny, oh well, guess you had to be there.

They did ask me if I knew about 7 people, all friends of mine who play on Party.
Rather interesting how we are all linked since I know there is not a referal connection.
However, we have all played poker together at some point in my life from the same IP address and I wonder if that was the connection?

Don't wonder about it, that is the connection. If two accounts ever play from the same IP they can't join the same table.

[/ QUOTE ]I'm glad they keep track of that. It may mean that I can't play against someone else in Austin that uses SBC DSL with dynamic IP, and has been issued an IP I've had while playing- but I'll accept that risk.

having a single account at multiple skins have never been against the rules.

I had the same conversation and they said it was ok. Then I emailed party poker if it was ok that I had accounts on multiple skins and they replied this:

"The sites that our powered and regulated by the poker system of
iGlobalMedia.com are:

1)PartyPoker.com

2)EmpirePoker.com

3)MultiPoker.com

4)PokerNow.com

5)IntertopsPoker.com

6)CoralEurobet.com

We do not allow a player to open more than one account in our poker
gaming system. You currently have an active real money account with our
website that is supported by our poker system which is powered and
regulated by iGlobalMedia.com. Thus, creating another account will not be
allowed."

So I have heard conflicting things from them and still have multiple accounts so I am pretty confused.

My guess is that is just a scare tactic similar to the popup you get when trying to create account without the REGEDIT fix. I have yet to hear of anyone having accounts closed and/or funds taken because of multiple skin account.

That makes a lot of sense. So until someone reports that their account gets frozen I can keep whoring on all the skins.
