Table is full of pushovers. Villian is tight and very weak -- very typical of many 1/2 Party players and this table in general, only even weaker. Blinds will fold to preflop aggression without strong hands.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
4 folds, MP3 calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, 2 folds, MP3 calls.

Villian has hand selection and nothing else. You don't open limp in MP3.

Flop: (5.50 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP3 checks, Hero bets, MP3 folds.

Final Pot: 3.25 BB

There is more to poker than just SSH.

Following the 'hard and fast rules' or starting hands charts printed in a book like SSH or WLLH can help if you have no clue hands to play, or how to play them. But any book I can think of--even the really bad ones--tell you that you have to adjust to the texture of the table/game. SSH does talk about being more liberal with your raises at a really weak table, especially when it's been folded around to you.

Lately I've been playing 2 tables of .5/1 and watching 1 table of 1/2 at the same time. There are times of the day when it is a lot tighter than .5/1, but for the most part during Prime time, it's not a whole lot different. I'm salivating for the day my bankroll is equipped to move up.

Oh and OT, I love your avatar. That is easily in my top 5 alltime favorite albums, with only 2 or 3 placing above it.

Well then you better bet to protect your hand from any weak draws. We wouldn't want to give infinite odds now, would we?
