How do bonuses affect your rakeback?
Just wondering, what happens to your rakeback figure when you get a deposit bonus. For instance, the $150 Empire bonus that is available now. If you sign up for that bonus what is the net affect on your rakeback amount?
Thanks |

Re: How do bonuses affect your rakeback?
The bottom line is that its worth doing the bonus even with a rakeback deal.
They subtract the 150 dollars from the amount of rake they attribute to you, then your percentage gets calculated. Example, suppose you generate a thousand dollars in attributed rake (MGR). If you have 25 percent rakeback you would ordinarily get 250 dollars in rakeback. They subtact the 150 dollar in bonus they paid you from the 1000 to reduce your MGR to 850. You get 25 percent of that or 212.50. So with the bonus and rakeback you get 362.50 (you probably won't get the fifty cents) instead of just the 250 dollars you would have had with Rakeback alone. --Zetack And this has been answered many times before, for future reference try the search function for something that you think has probably come up before. EDIT: some sites, like absolute, make no subtraction from your MGR so you get the full bonus and full rakeback, but what I wrote above seems to be the industry standard and applies at all the Party skins. |

Re: Thanks Zetack
Very Clear answer, thanks. I did do a search, but found nothing as clear as your explanation.

Re: How do bonuses affect your rakeback?
Rakeback accrued = x(rake/players)(hands) - bonuses
x = your percentage. Rake = rake collected Players = players dealt in Hands = total hands dealt in Bonuses = total bonuses collected |

Re: How do bonuses affect your rakeback?
Rakeback accrued = x((total rake/avg players) - bonuses))
