Default first time for everything

4/8 at the local B&M.

Hero is in CO with 33.

Four callers ahead, hero calls, one caller, SB folds, BB raises, everyone else calls.

Flop comes 2 9 J rainbow.

Checked around to Hero, who also checks. Button bets, three more people call in front of Hero. Hero takes one off.

It's the first time in my life I've paid to draw to a two outer.

That was you?

I think you gave a little too much action.

I posted that hand here, but apparently you didn't see it.

hmm I wonder what the point of clearing a $150 bonus is when you blow $24 on one hand drawing dead

You probably haven't played very long. If you have played a long time, you might want to re-evaluate your small pair play on the flop. Calling the flop in this hand closing the action getting 18:1 is like clockwork.

No, I haven't been playing that long. I don't multitable, and have only put down just under 30k hands online.

I know the call was easy, just happens to be the first time I've been in the position.
