Fresh off the viewing of some Jeremy Brett Holmes films, I'm curious if anyone here has read or made an intelligent argument either way on the topic of whether or not Sherlock Holmes could apprehend Keyser Soze. I have conflicting ideas so, at the moment, I am unsure of the matter.
I am not necessarily concerned about the yes/no general consensus so I'm not making this a poll. |

Sherlock Holmes was pretty bad-ass, and his nemesis, Moriarty, was pretty damn evil and smart.
On the other hand, Soze is from a whole different era, with a total disregard for fairplay and all that. Ultimately, after Soze cuts off Dr. Watson's head and taunts Holmes with it I think Holmes would have the motivation he'd need to get him. Swede |

I can make an intelligent argument that you have way too much free time.

Of course he could!! That dipshit cop almost caught him in the movie. Sherlock Holmes would have seen through that stupid story, and Keyser Soze would be locked up very quickly.

I think it would go something like this: Soze shoots Holmes in the head. End of story.

The bad guy from The Usual Suspects. [/ QUOTE ] Now that's one interpretation I hadn't considered. |
