Default 40k in a month ( I guess 2/3 as cool as schneids and gonores)

So yeah, I know that the challenge thing is being a bit overdone, but I've been planning to do it for several months. But I'll admit, the exercise part of it I'm pretty much copying from danemania and Alobar (although I'll be swimming instead of running)... also I'm playin 15/30 full, so i'm not entirely copying them.

Anyways, considering that poker is my sole source of income, I feel like i've been increadbily lazy the last 6-8 months, and I hope that a challenge can provide some sort of motivation for myself. So, in that sense this is mostly a hands played challenge, and I'm shooting to play 70k hands in April. I have yet to play much over 40k, so as long as I even make it to 60k hands, then I'll be pleased, and hopefully I could get close to my $40,000 goal. BTW, i'll be counting rakeback as well, since its still money, so I would consider it to be a very successful month if I bring in that much, even if a lot of it was from rakeback. I mean being about a year out of college, I would be hard-pressed to find a job that paid much more than 40k a year, so I'd be quite pleased to make that in a single month.

As I mentioned, This is mostly a self-motivationthing, to be able to see it in writing and have a clear goal in mind. So if nobody else cares then i'll just keep it to myself, and maybe post results at the end... but if anyone out there is interested, then i'll post updates a couple times a week.

Hey remember like 5 months ago when we were both playing $50nl full ring.

Yeah now I'm playing .5/1 limit and you're playing 15/30.

Sponger = Jealous

It's ok Sponger, you're playing way more tables than he is.

Right, as a consolation prize I win carpal tunnel syndrome.

Go me!

Also pfkaok is probably 8 tabling, maybe more. Back in the day when we played NL full ring, we played like 1,500 hands together and never were all-in in a pot against each other cause we were so tight. The one hand we played against eachother was KK vs KK, and he was on a new screen name so I didn't know who he was at the time and he claims it was the closest he had ever came to folding KK preflop cause we were both such rocks.

yeah, I am doing 8 now. I really feel like i could do more than 8 since I started using hot keys about a month ago, and it makes things WAY easier, but I still try to exercise some table selection, and that would be near impossible if I was playing 10 or more. Plus at 15/30 the tables break up so damn quick, since a lot of people get scared to play SH once it gets to 7-8 handed. I'm always amazed how quickly it can go from a full table to completely breaking up. I mean I usually leave if it gets to 5 or 6 handed and there's no real soft spots, but I just hate having to switch tables so much when i'm trying to keep 8 open.

I do remember that KK hand, and i think that if I didn't have a new screenname, i probably would have layed it down... also if i remember right, i think you had been complaining about how bad you had been running before that, so i figured you'd be more likely to push after my re-raise with weaker hands, esp since you didn't have notes on me at the time.
