I don't do any bonuses that are more than 5 RHs/ $1 to clear, unless playing there anyway. |

This is in a cash game in a casino. In both cases you were turned away from the table for a legitimate reason (ordering a drink or something like that).
Scenario one: Its supposed to be your big blind, but the dealer accidentally moved the button two spots. By the time you turn back to the table, the guy to your left has already posted the big blind, most of the hands have already been dealt, and no one else has noticed the error. Do you say anything? Scenario Two: same thing, except you were supposed to be small blind but you got the button by accident. Again, no one else has noticed the error and most of the cards have already been dealt by the time you see what's happened. Do you say anything? |

Im 100% sure that 99% of the time someone else would catch it before I could say anything. But I would mention it if no one else did. I love playing trash in the blind.
This actually just happened to me at Fallsview this weekend (I was suppose to be the small not the button) I stated my case before the deal but they left it as is. I guess others like to play trash too. |

I just started playing live and the mechanics are still taking some getting used to. So I probably wouldn't even remember for sure in either case, so I wouldn't say anything unless I was sure. I tend not to put a lot of mental energy into remembering blind payements.

This actually happened to me in a live game once.. was 1st game after a dealer change and the player 2 to my right moved the button himself. The new dealer then moved the button to me and since i was at the end of a 16 hour session i wasn't exactly on top of things and niether was the rest of the table at 4 am. By the time we realized it action had already taken place. The floor was called and said it was too late to do anything now... woo hoo i saved my $1 sb in a 3/6 game that round

I was playing at the Bellagio last weekend and an actor on "All my Children" tried to give me 100 bucks too much when I was coloring up and I gave him the money back.

You mean they don't have "auto-post" buttons at B&M tables?!?

In these situations I would probably not say anything. Not because I'm cheap, but rather because I don't want to hold the game up. If cards are already being dealt saying something can cause quite a delay :-(

It is not unusual for this kind of thing to happen, and I always point it out when it does.
