Re: KK hand with OESD
I like the play, maybe cap the flop and then just call, but other than that I think its ok, depending on the read of the player.

Re: KK hand with OESD
I'm not entirely sure if you can lay this hand down on the turn.
Preflop 3-betting hands... AA-JJ, maybe TT, AK, AQ maybe. So, the hands you beat on the flop are TT, AK, AQ, while you lose to AA, QQ, JJ. Depending on how tight the player is and how he's been playing, you might be able to fold, putting him on a set or AA. |

Re: KK hand with OESD
I think you can widen the hands because its being played in the sb. Some players hate the thought of their blind being taken, although this may not be the case, hands like AJ etc come into play I think. I see wild stuff being raised by seemingly competent preflop players merely because they've already got a bet in, so why not.

Re: KK hand with OESD
Depending on the player...
I would think that someone 3-betting the flop has more than just AJ or AQ... though its possible that he doesnt. Against the average player, I call down, but if the guy is LPP or a TPP, I muck on the turn. |
