Re: Congrats
This is impressive:
Hand 62 Rob is on the button. Romain is in the small blind. Alex is in the big blind. Brandon makes it 40K, Romain calls, Alex folds. Flop: J28 Romiain bets 60,000. Brandon calls. Turn: Q. Roman bets 100K. Brandon calls. Pot is now 421K. River: 3. Romain bets 149K. BRandoon Callss Romain MUCKS HIS FREAKIN' CARDS Brandon shows...I think A8 for third pair. His read on Romain is amazing. Brandon wins more than 500K pot. |

Re: Congrats
Excellent show for Brandon in Monte Carlo. I watched him there playing the final table (and some earlier stages), and it was some very impressive play. The oppostion was very tough, and the money was, obviously, very big, but Brandon looked like he's simply going to take it down (again). Unfortunately the end of the HU didn't go so well for him, and in those situations it takes only 1 or 2 hands to go from being strong in the lead, to a second.
I know how disapointed Brandon is for taking "only" 2nd, but his results in Deauville and Monte-Carlo are absolutely unmatched (Only Ram Vaswani took 1st and 2nd in 2 EPT events, but for much smaller money). Huge Congrats! Great great job. |
