Default HELP

This is my current session at a 10/20 six max Party table:

Hands: 600
VPIP: 21.56
PFR: 10%
WTSD: 38.82
Amnt won: (2,265)
BB/100: (18.69)

(With my 10 aa / kk, I'm down 300.)

This is on the heels of a (2,900) swing over the weekend over 2,000 hands with roughly the same stats, maybe 23 VPIP. (I'm break even M-W.) My post-flop agression (1.5/1.5/.8) and overall agression (1) numbers are low, but I think mostly just because I've had nothing to bet.

I feel cursed . . . how unusual is this swing over this many hands w/ this VPIP? . This is not only expensive, but incredibly frustrating because I've finally committed to playing disciplined (to the extent of my knowledge) and I've launched on this streak which is far worse than anything I ever experienced as a LAP. Despite my losses, I've played only a couple hands on tilt. Thanks for your input.

I'm not sure how common a swing like this is. Has anybody else ever gone through a swing like this, and posted about it?

Default Re: HELP

It's uncommon, but not rare. I had a -$2,500 swing on 3/15/05 over a similar number of hands. Obviously I know I'm not a -20 BB/100 player, so it doesn't bother me much.

My advice: Move down if you can't handle swings of this magnitude. 10/20 is much more volatile than 5/10.
