Who\'s gonna help me? Hardware set-up
I ordered a second monitor and dual display video card from newegg tonite. yay me. Who here will walk me thru (seriously, baby frigging steps)putting the card in, and getting it up and running? I'll buy you a beer. You can sleep in my guest room. My sister is hot, I'll introduce you.
My comp is an eMachines T1096 with an onboard video controller. 2 open PCI slots. The card I bought is ATI RADEON 9200SE Video Card, 128MB DDR, 64-Bit, DVI/TV-Out, PCI The monitor will match the 17" LCD that I have now, VGA inputs. I also ordered a DVI to VGA convertor, and then later realized there was one in the video card. doh! How's newegg on the returns? I've got a laptop, so MSM might be the best way, or a running post here. I really appreciate any help I can get. Thanks again Nate |
