Default Is it possible to get non-denomination Paulsons?

Is there anyway to get Paulson's chips without inlays? Or, for that matter, without denominations? Or are the only ones that are available the Bond chips, and the upcoming Pharaohs? The chips look absolutely beautiful, I just want to find out if there is a way to get them without the denoms on them so as to have more flexibility for home games.

Thanks in advance for any response.

You can always use $5, $25, $100, $500, $1000 chips as 0.05, 0.25, $1.00 etc. to maintain flexibility for cash games and use them at face value for tournaments. I think a good way to decide what chips you need is decide what cash game limits you think you will be playing and buy your chips based on that, because tournaments starting stacks/blind schedules are easy to adjust to fit your chip assortment. For example, if you mostly play 0.05/0.10 or $5/$10 limit games (or both), you will need nickels ($5 chips). So, you could buy a 500 chip set with $5x200, $25x200, $100x50 and $500x50. Then, you could play your cash games and also T1000 tourneys with starting blinds at 10/20. If you play 0.25/0.50 or 0.50/1.00, you could get $25x200, $100x200, $500x50, $1000x50 and play T2500 tourneys, starting blinds 25/50. If you play 1.00/2.00, start with $1's at the bottom. Having 1 blank denom like in Ten's Pharaoh's Club set adds even more flexibility, because you can buy blanks instead of your lowest or highest denom. If you bought a set with blank x 200, $25 x 200, $100 x 50, $500 x 50, you could play almost any limit you want.

Of course, if you want non-denoms, you want non-denoms, in which case you would have to set up your own group buy of Paulsons (100,000 chip minimum) or go with a different company. Like jojo said, no non-denom Paulsons yet.

Thanks Bubba. That's all very helpful. The home game my buddies and I play isn't structured like a hold'em game is because we play a bunch of variations of poker. That said the current chips we use are all blank with assigned values of 0.25, 0.50 and 1.00. I was planning on buying a set of 500 from pokerchips.com with a split of 200 at 0.25, 150 at .50, 100 at 1.00 and 50 at $2.00, since that is the high raise limit in the final round of any given game. The Bond chips are awesome, and the Pharaoh's look like they will be as well, but I'm just not sure I want to get chips with denoms on them.

Thanks again though for all of your input. It is very much appreciated.

You can buy the Pharaoh's, and use the orange "blank" one for the 50¢ chip, or as the $2 chip. We already have the 25¢ and the $1 covered. That's why I offered at least one chip with no denomination, for a more flexible set while adhering to the classic casino design.

My two cents... just use quarters and dollars, no reason to have .25, .50, 1, 2. Of course you want what you want, this is just my opinion

In that case, a good setup with the Pharaoh's club chips might be:
25c (or $25) x 200
blank (as 50c/$50 or $2) x 150
$1 (or $100) x 100
$5 (or $500) x 50

With a blank, you can also use the blanks as extra 25c or $1's or whatever if you find you don't have enough of a certain denom.

or maybe with standard denoms:
25c x 300
$1 x 150
$5 x 50

I don't want to speak for you since you know your game the best, but generally it's more efficient chip-wise to have your denoms go up 4 or 5x per level (0.25, $1, $5) rather than 2x (0.25, 0.5, $1, $2). I find I generally don't need that many denoms that close together, especially in no-limit games. Anyway, if you REALLY want Paulson's, I would jump on the Pharaoh's club chips because you probably won't see any non-denom Paulson's anytime soon, and at least with 1 blank chip you have that added flexibility. If you hate the idea of having blanks and denoms in the same set, then you can probably wait because you can always buy Standard Stock Paulsons later if you decide denom's are OK or get a non-denom set if not. If getting Paulson's is not so big a deal and you REALLY want non-denom's, then go with a different brand.

Alright. You guys are good. You've convinced me. But there is a catch. I need to call and cancel my pokerchips.com order that was placed on February 14. If I can still cancel, I'm in for 500 or 550 of these Pharaohs. I imagine we're looking at around June for delivery? And less than $1 a chip?
